Today I want to talk about Kombucha. Which is obviously entirely unrelated to those Banana Oatmeal Cookies, however I understand you won't obey.
Allow me to start by stating that my husband beverages apple cider vinegar mixed with warm water daily to decrease inflammation or anything like this.
He claims it is magical. I claim it's nasty.
While I understand this is going to seem dramatic (because it is)I actually dry heave in the sight and smell of the early ritual on a daily basis. He loves that around me personally.
Based upon this response, one would believe that I would stay far away from Kombucha, right? I mean, after all, it surely comes with a vinegary tang.
However, for whatever reason, I continue trying it. I Need to like it SO DANG BAD.

I like these biscuits somewhat about the side, therefore that I bake them for 9 or 10 seconds. If you want these to be cooked through, I would shoot for 10-11 seconds.

BANANA OATMEAL COOKIES
YIELD: about 30 biscuits PREP TIME: 10 minnutes COOK TIME: 10 website here minutes
1/2 cup unsalted butter, at room temperature
1 large egg
1 1/2 tsp pure vanilla extract
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
3 1/4 cup old fashioned oats
Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
In the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, or in a big bowl with an electric mixer, beat the sugar and butter until light and fluffy, about 3 minutes.
Scrape the sides of the bowl and then mix in the egg until fully incorporated. Scrape the sides of the bowl and add in the mashed bananas and vanilla.
In a medium bowlwhisk together the flour, baking soda, salt and cinnamon.
Gently add the the flour mixture to the banana mixture and mix until just blended.
Scrape down the sides of the bowl and then stir to recombine.
Use a moderate cookie scoop (about 1.5 tbsp ) to scoop the dough on prepared cookie sheets leaving about two inches between each cookie.
Bake in preheated oven for about 9-11 minutes.
Remove cookies from the oven and then gently press on the shirts of each cookie with the bottom of a drinking glass. Considering these cookies don't spread considerably, this can help give them a conventional cookie form.
